It had something to do with mods being extremely predatory towards the under-aged users in the YWP. Even though people reported them and went through all the right channels, they basically covered it up. That and their newest forum system - nobody likes it and they refuse to listen to suggestions to make it better so it's just all around a hostile environment for a lot of people. I think they did shut the forums down but they either shut it down for a short time or semi-permanently. I am not sure which, I haven't tried to log in yet.
